Myths about Chiropractic 2.0

With some of the myths debunked in the previous post, we hope there is a better understanding of what chiropractic is. Today we will be going through 5 more myths about chiropractic.


1. Once you start going for chiropractic care, you can never stop


This is false. This myth is certainly created by someone who has never been to chiropractic before. The amount of chiropractic care you pursue is definitely up to you. Majority of the people only seek pain relief from Chiropractic care. The benefits of chiropractic care increases as you continue all the way to your maintenance care. Therefore, it is still your choice for how long and often you have to go.


2. Chiropractic care is not scientific


Chiropractic care has always been rooted by science. It is proven whereby the spine controls the nervous system and regulates the entire body


Therefore, when the spine becomes misaligned, the nervous system does not function properly which can result in countless aches, pains and visceral issues.


3. Chiropractic care is expensive.


This is not true. If you count and compare the cost of chiropractic and a visit to a doctor's office, going to the chiropractor is actually cheaper. It is also cheaper in a sense whereby regular chiropractic care helps you avoid paying for expensive and long term invasive treatment such as medication and surgery,


4. Only adults can see a chiropractor


Chiropractors receives training to adjust all people regardless of age. Some chiropractors have received additional specialized training for babies and children



5. Chiropractic adjustment are bad for your bones


This myth could arise from the loud cracking and popping as a by-product of an spinal adjustment. However, any noises that you hear from a chiropractic adjustment are actually gas and fluid moving through your joints. Therefore, there is nothing to worry about!
